My sister passed on the note book, I am in Sheffield and have written in the book. I have passed it on to my other sister who lives in Keswick, Cumbria.

#33 in Perth

August 7, 2008

Today we realized Notebook 32 had it’s binding damaged. No worries, we just skipped to #33 and handed it out today in Perth. We got a response later on the same day!

Hi.

I was handed notebook 33 during my lunch break while walking across the
North Inch Park in Perth, Scotland.

It is a nice idea. I’ve done a page with some images of Perth pasted in
and will pass on to my sister in Sheffield and see where it goes from
there.

Cheers

Emma

Thanks Emma! Sorry if we seemed strange when we handed you the notebook. We had just asked three gentlemen if they wanted to take the notebook and they rejected us! Then you walked right past us and we asked you to take it…and you did! Just think of the completely different journey that this notebook could have gone on if it were taken a split second earlier by someone else. Who knows where it might end up. This is another reason why this experiment is so much fun. The slightest change can have an enormous impact on the ultimate journey that a notebook takes.
