I received book #2. I received the book from a girl, Marie Ann, that “surfed” at my house while she was on her Hawaiian vacation. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Marie-Ann and I are both part of the www.couchsurfing.com website and met thorough there. I don’t know how she received the book because she didn’t write in it but she just left it in the room after she left. I found it laying beside the bed when I returned from taking them to the airport. My profile on couchsurfing is http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/machelllrk. I’ll write something in the book and pass it on to one of my clients. I’m a cosmetologist so I sometimes have clients come in who are vacationing here from far away places.

Yo. I got notebook 2 today in Santa Clara, Ca and I wrote in it. Was I
supposed to fill one page front and back, or just one page? Hmmm…

The first set of notebooks have been sent off into the world! The first 7 were mailed or handed out in the last few days, so we should start seeing more frequent updates on this site soon. Here are the locations of the first 7 notebooks:
1: Mailed to Santa Clara, CA
2: Mailed to Santa Clara, CA
3: Mailed to San Francisco, CA
4: Given out in San Diego, CA
5: Mailed to Santa Cruz, CA
6: Mailed to San Francisco, CA
7: Mailed to Asheville, NC
As you can see, almost all of the notebooks are stating in California. If you live somewhere outside of California and want to help us out, send us an email and we will hook you up with a notebook!
If you are one of the first seven to get a notebook, thanks for helping me start this fun experiment. If you got one and don’t feel like writing in it, do me a favor and pass it on to someone else. It can be anyone too, it doesn’t have to be someone you know. You can even walk outside and give it to the first person you see. Or give it to a cop. Or a bum. Give it to your crazy neighbor. Go nuts!
